Mica Powders are stunning natural colours that are commonly known for their use in mineral makeup and eye shadows, etc. Recently, mica powders have gained incredible popularity as a natural alternative to colouring waxes and when used with liquid and chip dyes, creates an eye-catching pearlescent sheen. We recommend that you use around 5% mica powder to wax ratio for a shimmering effect, you can also use our liquid and chip dyes to create a richer colour. We suggest using mica powders to add a shimmer to wax melts when melted, but we do not recommend the use of mica powder in candles as they can clog the wick and become a potential fire hazard.
